Vice-Chair, Felipe Mucare

Hello delegates!

My name is Felipe Mucare, and I am beyond excited to be serving as your Co-Chair for this year’s Rio MUN! I am currently a sophomore at EARJ Gavea, and I have been doing MUN for the past four years. Throughout that time, MUN has helped me become the person who I am today. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone, challenged me to think more critically, and given me numerous opportunities to learn and develop myself. I truly hope it does the same for you!

One of the most important aspects of MUN is, definitely, the debates. I have learned so much from them, made many amazing friendships, and contributed to passing quite some excellent, and sporadically questionable resolutions along my journey. When I am not doing MUN, you will probably find me playing soccer, tennis or surfing. I am really looking forward to meeting you all, and most importantly, having incredible debates together! If you need anything, please do not hesitate to contact me at felipemucare@gmail.com. See you at RioMUN VI!

Vice-Chair, Arturo Nevins

Hello everyone!

Hello, my name is Arturo Nevins. I'm an 11th grader from EARJ and am a chair for this Rio MUN Special Committee. I have been in MUN since 6th grade, but this is my first time as chair, and I'm excited to take on this new challenge. I believe that MUN is a great opportunity for young people such as myself to learn more about the way that our political world functions and how to properly carry out diplomacy. These skills are very important in our world today. Outside of MUN, my interests are football, music, and playing video games.

If you have any questions or you need support in anything, please feel free to email me at nevinsarturo@gmail.com or at anevins@protonmail.com.
